Awards

We are proud to sponsor two Race Matters Unsung Hero Awards, which honour and celebrate extraordinary individuals from diverse and vulnerable communities that work in the field of maternal health. Candidates include – but are not limited to – midwives, student midwives, maternity support workers and higher education institution staff. These individuals often go above and beyond the call of duty and deserve recognition for their hard work and dedication.

The Race Matters Unsung Hero awards are delivered in collaboration with the Royal College of Midwives and recognise exemplary service delivery, education that promotes collaborative and culturally sensitive working that results in higher standards of care for all service users throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
